Jr High Day Camp (grades 6 – 9)

All the fun of summer camp with the option of sleeping at home!
This day camp is for older campers who prefer to sleep at home, rather than staying overnight at camp. These campers participate in the same program as the Jr High Overnight campers, except they go home at 5:00 PM each night. Campers will enjoy age appropriate activities including: swimming, water toys (including a giant obstacle course and Wibit Action Tower), boating, archery, arts and crafts, kayaks, canoes, field inflatables (giant slide and obstacle course), and more.

Age/Grade Level: Entering Grades 6 – 9
Schedule: Monday – Friday

    What to Bring

    All items should be clearly marked with camper’s name.

    • Backpack (to carry personal items)
    • Sunscreen

    What NOT to bring:

    • Spaghetti strap tank tops
    • Cell phones and other electronics
    • Clothing or items that you could not stand to lose or ruin

    Monday Check In

    Jr High Day Camp Check-In takes place Monday morning in your car on the upper field at 8:00 AM. 

    At Check-In you will have the opportunity to: 

    • Add money to your child’s store account
    • Purchase camp extras (picture, photo CD, or Care Package)
    • Finalize any missing paperwork
    • Make additions to your carpool list
    • Turn in any medications your child may need while at camp

    Extended Care

    Pre-paid AM extended care drop off is from 7:00 – 8:00 AM Monday – Friday. AM care is available for $25 per camper. Pre-paid PM extended care is available Monday – Wednesday for $15 per camper. Extended care pick up is from 5:00 – 6:00 PM.

    Pick-up after 6:00 PM will incur a $1.00 a minute, per child fee, due at the time of pick-up. There is no PM extended care on Thursday or Friday.

    Special Schedules

    If your child needs to miss any portion of their camp session, please notify the main office of your schedule as soon as possible. All late arrivals and early departures will take place in the main office. Notifying your child’s counselor of early pick up times will not ensure your child will be ready when you arrive; please call the main office at (425) 746-9110.

    Campers that arrive late or depart early will miss a portion of the camp program and will not be able to make up missed activities. Campers who arrive late Monday morning will miss being in the camp picture. Should you schedule a pick up for your child in the middle of an activity, they may need to miss the entire activity. In fairness to other campers, boats will not be brought back before the scheduled end time of each activity block.

    Please check with our registrar concerning the best time to pick up your child if they must leave early.
